Itinerary
The group will assemble at the pick-up point in Guwahati where a brief introduction by the trip captain will be provided. Afterwards, we'll head to Shillong which is a dreamy hill station nestled in the heart of Meghalaya, popularly known as the "Scotland of the East". Upon reaching Shillong, we'll check into our hotels and spend leisure time amidst nature. In the evening, we will head to the main market in Shillong to explore its lively cafes and sightseeing spots. Standard Check-In time is 01:00 PM.
After early morning breakfast, we'll head towards Dawki River (Umngot River), famous for its turquoise water that resembles a glass surface. En route, we'd visit Krang Suri Falls, where you can immerse yourself in its stunning turquoise waters. Upon arrival in Dawki, we'll check into our riverside camps in Shnongpdeng. In the evening, we'll host a bonfire (subject to weather condition), followed by dinner and an overnight stay in camps.
Post breakfast, we'll indulge in thrilling adventure activities like Cliff Jumping, Boating, Snorkeling, and Kayaking in the sparkling river. Afterward, we'll head towards Cherrapunji. En route, we'll be traversing the Indo-Bangla Border as we visit Mawlynnong which holds the title of Asia's cleanest village and offers breathtaking views of the neighboring Bangladesh plains. Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, check into our hotels and spend the night soaking in bliss.
After early morning breakfast, visit Seven Sister Falls and Mawsmai Caves made of limestone with stunning stalactites. Next, visit the Single Root Bridge, explore Nongriat Village and Tyrna Village. Then start our trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge and crystal-clear blue pools. Afterward, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
After early morning breakfast, check out of our hotel and head towards Shillong. En route, visit Nohkalikai waterfall (tallest plunge waterfall in Meghalaya at 1,115 ft), Garden of Caves, Laitlum Canyons panoramic viewpoint, and Elephant Falls. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into our hotel where we will spend the night.
Embark on a scenic drive from Shillong to Kaziranga National Park traversing picturesque views of the valley and deep jungles. En route, visit the beautiful Umiam Lake surrounded by Sylvan hills. Upon arrival, check into our resorts set amidst lush flora and fauna. Spend the rest of the day rejuvenating and indulging in recreational activities within property premises.
